Yorkshire Tennis Camp

This is a unique opportunity to live and play tennis in the grounds of the World famous English School - Giggleswick.

Set in the heart of the idyllic Yorkshire Dales (featured in the latest Harry Potter movie), this is a perfect venue for your child to enjoy one to three weeks of intensive tennis and sport. Each year the tennis camp runs for three weeks in July (Summer Tennis Camps).

About Jonathan Markson Tennis

The International Tennis Camp was established in 1981 by British Tennis Coach, Jonathan Markson. Each Easter (1 week) and summer (9 weeks), top professional players and coaches come together to provide an intensive and stimulating tennis experience.

Jonathan Markson Tennis aims to provide to players of all ages and levels a rewarding and enjoyable tennis experience, where the coaching is serious but fun in an environment that is beautiful and relaxing.

Immerse yourself in this historic city and get lost in its environs filled with architectural marvels. Some of the awe inspiring castles here are the Pickering Castle, Bowes Castle, Skipton Castle, Richmond Castle and the York Castle.

Cultural Festival

This great spectacle will be held in Yorkshire this year to celebrate the start of the Tour de France in the county. The festival runs from 27th March and continues till 6th July. Be part of the celebrations to discover Yorkshire's festive spirit.

Visit the Yorkshire Country Club

Yorkshire is a name synonymous with a plenty of sports and the popular ones amongst them include football, horse racing, rugby league and of course cricket. A visit to Yorkshire county cricket club would be on any sport lover's list. The Yorkshire county cricket club is the most decorated county cricket club and is known to have produced legends of the like of Geoff Boycott, Herbert Sutcliffe, Fred Trueman and Len Hutton.

The sporting facilities are superb. There are 11 grass and hard tennis courts, as well as an indoor court in the new sports hall, an impressive artificial hockey pitch, indoor swimming pool, extensive grounds for cricket, rugby, football and netball.


The Yorkshire Camp offers a residential tennis package. Players stay at the School accommodation.

English classses

A tennis and language programme is available for international students who want to improve their tennis and their English at the same time!
