The academy utilises the name and reputation of Patrick Mouratoglou, who has trained tennis champion Serena Williams, and notable players Marcos Baghdatis, Grigor Dimitrov, and Aravane Rezai.
The tennis academy is currently under construction (after relocating from Paris) and by summer 2016 will offer tennis-training infrastructure that is second-to-none in Europe. The facility will include a 3,000m² accommodation center with 34 clay & green courts (including 8 indoor courts), a center court for shows & tournaments, Play Sight video equipment on 6 courts, an indoor/outdoor multisport & gym training center, an athletics track, and an outdoor pool.
