While it hasn’t opened yet we’re tipping that the Rafael Nadal Tennis Academy will soon make its way to the top tennis academies in the world. It will begin operations in 2016 for young players to train with the method that has led ‘Rafa’ to be World No.1, with the guarantee of being surrounded by the best coaches and the technical team in the tennis. All this will be offered on a training campus with top facilities and high-end technology.
In collaboration with the technical team that has been working with Rafa throughout his career, Rafael Nadal and his uncle (also his long time coach) Toni Nadal have created the training system that will be used at the Academy.
There’s a lot of interest to see how Rafael Nadal will translate his success on the court to the success of young players. Located in Nadal’s hometown, the Academy will also focus on general education to make sure that young players aren’t giving up on academic learning to pursue their dreams on making it big on the tour.
