Rosewood Little Dix Bay is located within close proximity to seven secluded beaches around Virgin Gorda that can only be accessed by sea. In addition to the three-quarter-mile stretch of sand the resort is located on, the resort's staff will provide details about each of these beaches including the range of snorkelling opportunities, sunset views, level of privacy, sand color and quality. These beach drops are a true beach lover's delight.
Sailing trips to one of the many unspoiled and little visited islands offer a true sense of exploration. Boats/yachts set sail for Norman Island and explore what is thought to be the inspiration for the famed Robert Louis Stevenson novel, Treasure Island. For new sailors, the resort offers hobie cat sailboats to learn the art of sailing within the calm confines of the bay.
With a natural abundance of coral reefs and underwater wreck sites in the waters of Virgin Gorda, it is only natural that Dive BVI, one of the premier dive companies in the region, offers scuba diving tours and beginner instruction right from the resort’s own beach and watersports center.
