This spring we held our second Fantasy Tennis Camp and what an amazing week it was! Five days of clinics given by the biggest names in the game... Tracy regaling the group with tales of the pro tennis circuit…players facing down 145-mph serves…and edge-of-your-seat competition (congratulations to eventual winners, Tessa Morris and William Bailey).
It will be hosted again by former U.S. Open Champion and World #1 player Tracy Austin and two-time Australian Open Champion and World #7 Johan Kriek. They will be joined by Tom Gullikson. Aimed at active adult tennis players ranging in skill from recreational to tournament level, it will include five days of professional instruction and match play, a welcome party, a tennis exhibition, and ample opportunities to enjoy our award-winning resort. Tracy Austin

#1 ranked player in tennis history. Tracy won several titles starting from the age of 14. She received her 1st major title at the Italian Open at 16y.o, where she defeated Chris Evert in the semifinals and severed Chris 125-match clay court winning streak. At the same year she became the youngest player to win U.S Open, where 2 years later she received her 2nd title. Just after a year, in her 17th she ranked #1 player in the world. In 1980 she and her brother, John, became the only brother/sister team to win Wimbledon mixed doubles in the history. 

Johan Kriek:

Johan Kriek is a member of an elite group of tennis professionals who have multiple Grand Slam singles titles; he is a two-time winner of The Australian Open (1981 and 1982). He was ranked seventh in the world recording wins over many top players–Connors, Borg, Vilas, Noah, Agassi, Chang, Smith, Ashe, McEnroe, Cash, Wilander and Edberg.

Tom Gullikson:

Gullikson won one career singles title and 8 career doubles titles, and has coached such top players as Jennifer Capriati, Todd Martin and Pete Sampras. From 1994 to 1999, he served as U.S. Davis Cup Captain, leading the team to victory in 1995. He also coached the U.S. Olympic Team in 1996 where he helped Andre Agassi win the gold medal.

• Deluxe room

18 Deluxe Rooms fill a two-story Caribbean-style villa right on our Surf Beach, a short walk down a shaded pathway from the bar and restaurant. 9 rooms are on the beach level, with spacious terraces that lead straight out on to the sand. Spread out on the floor above, nine more have verandahs looking out over the sand and sea to the distant headland. All are decorated in a colorful West-Indian style, with contemporary dark-wood furniture, white bedcovers and colorful accents that evoke the colors of the sea.

• Junior Suite

40 Junior Suites are spread through three-story villas right on the resort’s Surf Beach, just a stone’s throw from the water. Bedroom section is a step down to a sunken living room with elegant sea-grass sofas and armchairs, accented with rich blues and greens that mirror the colors outside. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors lead on to verandahs and terraces looking out over the sea, palms and lushly forested shoreline.

The grand marble-and white-tile bathrooms have double sinks, big tubs and large, open-walled showers.

• Bluff Room

Set into the rocky edge of the bluff, the 5 Bluff Rooms have same décor, bedroom and bathroom as the Executive One-bedroom Suites, but no living room. Their spacious terraces look out over both the sea and the resort’s Surf Beach.When combined with an Executive Suite (using an interconnecting door), it creates the perfect space for two couples or a family, with three different levels, a shared living room and well-separated bedrooms.
