Each January, the tennis seasons starts fresh in Melbourne at the Australian Open, the Grand Slam of Asia/Pacific. The players arrive rejuvenated and healthy after a much-needed off-season and tennis fans are anxious after a long break from the game they love. The Australian Open (AO) brings excited, boisterous crowds and is always one of the most fun events of the year.

At the beginning of your tour you will attend a Welcome Dinner hosted by Grand Slam Tennis Tours. The dinner will give guests an opportunity to share a table and conversation with past grand slam champions, as well as the chance to meet fellow travelers and connect with your tour hosts. Welcome Dinners are hosted at fine local restaurants within short walking distance from the Langham Hotel.

Venue information
The Australian Open facilities at Melbourne Park are second to none in the world. The Open is hosted in a beautiful tennis complex that offers excellent side-court access as well as three world-famous show courts. Rod Laver and Margaret Court Arenas hold 15,000 and 7,500, respectively, with Hisense Arena holding an additional 10,500 guests, all three of which have roofs, giving them one more roof than any other grand slam.
